Last week, The Father Center of New Jersey was the proud recipient of a $10,000 Empowerment Grant from The Provident Bank Foundation (PBF). It was one of several multi-year grants PBF awarded to organizations whose missions align with empowering individuals on their paths to economic self-sufficiency—many of which serve communities disproportionately impacted by systemic inequities and resource divestment.
The grant will help fund our Bridges2Success® program, which equips men with nationally recognized certifications, job readiness training and life skills to overcome barriers such as unemployment, incarceration and homelessness. With this support, the program will serve 175 men, fathers and young men, helping them build sustainable careers, strengthen their families and contribute to their communities.
