The Father Center of New Jersey, through its Bridges2Success™ program, is launching Skills2Connect, a new “job sampling” program that gives participants the chance to connect their job skills and preferences to specific career opportunities. Job sampling is a valuable tool that allows both employers and employees to assess job fit and skills compatibility.
Participants get the chance to experience job duties firsthand before making a final decision about a position; gain the support and guidance they need to navigate the challenge of finding employment; get evaluated based on a variety of factors to determine if they are suited for a particular job; and discover their strengths and job preferences, ultimately leading to a better match for a long-term career.
