Nasir Alston came into the Co-Hort program looking to make a real change in his life. Through mentorship and apprenticeship opportunities with Job One, his mindset and outlook on life began to change, making the impossible finally seem possible.
Facing homelessness and uncertainty, Nasir stayed committed to the process. With the support of Client Services Specialists Omar Aikens and Monique Jackson, along with the strong support system from Job One standing beside him every step of the way, he was able to secure housing within just two weeks.
Thanks to The Father Center of New Jersey for providing the platform and Job One for leading the way. Watching two powerful organizations come together to create change for this gentleman was truly amazing.
