Our Workforce Innovation Board (WIB) participants recently took part in a mock interview workshop
to strengthen their interview skills and prepare them for future employment opportunities. It was a highly engaging and interactive session that gave participants the opportunity to practice interviewing in a supportive environment while learning effective strategies for answering common interview questions with confidence.
A major focus of the session was how to professionally address questions related to a criminal background. Through open discussion, practical examples, and constructive feedback, participants gained valuable insight into how to communicate honestly, emphasize personal growth, and highlight the positive steps they have taken oward rebuilding their lives and careers.
The mock interviews allowed participants to build confidence, improve their communication skills, and receive real-time feedback that will help them succeed during actual job interviews.
We extend a special thanks you our new employee Wasul, who generously shared his knowledge, professional expertise, and personal experiences with our participants. His willingness to provide practical guidance and encouragement made today’s workshop both meaningful and inspiring. We are grateful for his commitment to empowering our participants and helping them move one step closer to achieving their employment goals.
