On Friday, June 26, participants of the WIB (Workforce Investment Board) program visited Grounds for Sculpture, a beautiful outdoor sculpture park in New Jersey. This experience provided them with a much-needed escape from the challenges they often face in their daily lives, allowing them to immerse themselves in art and nature. The serene environment offered a perfect backdrop for reflection and creativity, allowing everyone to momentarily detach from their challenges and embrace the beauty around them.
A huge shout-out to Grounds for Sculpture and Go Trenton for making this incredible trip possible for the WIB program participants! A special thank you goes to Shanique Jackson, a supervisor at Go Trenton. Shanique played a crucial role in making this trip a success by ensuring that the vans arrived on time and providing outstanding customer service. Your efforts truly made a difference, and it was heartwarming to see the joy on the participants’ faces during the walking tour.
“The experience fostered creativity and connection, allowing everyone to engage with art in a meaningful way,” said Yanira Media, Senior Program Manager/WIB Program Manager (Bilingual). “Thank you for supporting our community and enriching the lives of these participants.”
