TFCNJ June 2

We are excited to share that The Father Center of New Jersey recently hosted a Mental Health First Aid training session, and it was a resounding success! This vital training equipped attendees with essential skills to support mental health in our communities.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible instructors, Dr. Michael Mimms and Meghan Blair from the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA), for generously sharing their expertise and insights. Your passion for mental health education truly made a difference!

We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our special guests: Ericka Murray, Tiona Edge, Angel Wallace and Wilena Reeves-Bell from the Mercer County Board of Social Services (MCBSS), as well as Laticia Bailey, President of NHBW Burlington, and the dedicated staff from New Life Driving School. Your participation enriched the training experience!

A big shout-out goes to our amazing local businesses for their generous food donations, ensuring that our attendees were well-fed and energized throughout the training. Thank you to El Negro de Oro Restaurant, Taqueria El Charro Costeño, JB Bakery-Burlington, Anette Daniels and Westampton Diner for your support!

Together, we are making strides in promoting mental wellness and support within our
community. Let’s continue to spread awareness and foster a culture of understanding and compassion!
