Meet Our December Employee of the Month
Since joining The Father Center of New Jersey as a Client Services Specialist in 2022, Brian Wingate has become a vital force behind the organization’s impact-driven work, meeting men where they are as he guides them to a more stable future.
Brian has always been drawn by nonprofit work. “I like to be able to give back,” he says. “When someone feels like they have nowhere to turn and then you can say, ‘I can help you.’ That feels good.”
At The Father Center, Brian wears many hats. He currently manages the Bridges2Success® program, which offers a range of training classes and certification programs designed to help participants find and keep jobs. “We are giving the guys a chance through job training and readiness, so that they can support their families. And they appreciate it. Sometimes I get a random text from someone just saying, ‘Hey, you really helped me and my family.’ And that feels really good.”
Though Brian is not a father himself, he is a proud uncle and father figure to his nephews. He understands what it means to be present in a child’s life. “2026 is going to be a big year for The Father Center of New Jersey, and I am excited to be a part of it.”
