Book Signing in Trenton on May 22!
We are so proud of Demetrius Moses-Lake, who will be at The Father Center on May 22, between 11 am and 3 pm, signing copies of his second book of poetry, “From a Bird Point of View: A Lost Bird Who Found Poetry.”
Demetrius, an alumnus of one of the programs at The Father Center of New Jersey, has found his voice through the written word. “Poetry helps us understand things from a different perspective,” he says.
Through the relationships he made at The Father Center of New Jersey, Demetrius has a network of people he can count on—something that has really made a difference in his life.
He hopes his poems do the same for others. “My poems talk about things like love and other things we all go through as humans. My hope is that my book inspires others and helps people who are lost and confused about certain things to maybe see things in a different light.”
